farewell for now

Dear friends and fellow chopchopkalipok "BBQ" supporters,

it is with much regret that i have decided to conclude this wonderful "chapter" of my life. it was an eventful 3 years and many things were beyond my control. rising food cost, skyrocketing high rental, logistics problems made this small business no longer viable. the coup de grace materialized when i have lost a soul mate that was the "engine" that propels me forward...

perhaps, it is a good thing to just get back on the "terra firma" instead of building castle in the air. i'm thankful to all my "supporters" who continually buy from us even though chopchopkalipokbbq does not have many to offer. it was a great pleasure knowing and serving you.

since i could no longer secure a proper production kitchen, i think it is a responsible thing to stop selling... to those that i have turned away, my sincere apologies to you as i do not wish to sell without proper licensing. i seek your kind understanding in these matters.

it was a difficult decision. but it seems that's the only option for now. i struggled with this decision to delete this blog for a while. after all, it was a chapter of my life story. it may have taken off perhaps in a different era. perhaps lah. haha. instead of taking it offline permanently, i think a note to tell all that we creased production will sufficed.

till a time when i think i can do it again, i will definitely pick up all the pieces where i left it.

so it is farewell for now.

p.s: i have stop posting on this chopchop kalipok blog during these down and out days. and for a moment, i dreaded opening this blog. i was surprised to find that i still have a handful of followers (a handful lah). and even an increase in numbers from previously 6 to now 7. hahaha...
